Many review sites indicate the price of dining at each place. I have found that the $$ indications can vary from site to site, so I thought it would be helpful to explain my ratings.

Prices are based on what Dave and I spend per person when going out to these places, based on what we ordered there. For example:

Dinner at MOD Pizza, for two, runs us about $20. That's $10/person, so I give MOD Pizza one $.

Dessert for two at Petunia's Pies & Pastries was about $30 for two slices of cake and two coffees. I think Dave tipped them, as well. Anyway, our bill was $29 and change. Yes, that's a LOT for cake and coffee, in my humble opinion, but it was Valentine's Day and the previous 6+ weeks were quite difficult (my dad became very ill then passed away) so this was a big treat for us. I gave Petunia's $$ because it came out to about $15 per person.
